How do I enroll my child?

Students enter Columbus Magnet School through a Lottery Drawing. To be included in the annual Lottery, parents must submit applications for their children during the Lottery Application Period which begins in January 2018 (date TBD). Applicants must reside in Norwalk. Parents interested in learning more about the Progressive HOT School/Bank Street Model at Columbus are encouraged to attend the Information Meetings and Guided Tours. (See below)

How to Apply:

Applications for children entering grades K-6 are available during the annual Lottery Application Period, January-March 2018 (dates TBD) from the Columbus Magnet School Main Office or may be downloaded. Applications will be available January, 2018.

Only applications received during the Lottery Application Period will be included in the Lottery Drawing. All prospective students (including siblings of current students) must submit applications. Parents may apply to only one of Norwalk's Magnet School programs.

Guided Tours are offered to prospective parents during the Lottery Application Period to showcase the wonderful learning opportunities taking place at the school. ​Dates TBD
