Medard Thomas, principal of Concord Magnet K-8,  is proud to announce CMS's 2023 Recipients of the Excellence in Education Award!!

Ms. Sue (Stroffolino) is the Original. She has been with our school for over 25 years. Ms. Sue stays true to the core beliefs and principles this school was founded upon. Ms. Sue is the first person in the building as she cares for and watches over the children who start their day early, and she is the one who sets our children up for Student Council, All School Meetings, and Community Outreach. Ms. Sue embodies the best of our school's traditions!

Ms. Curran will accept the award on behalf of our Instructional Leadership Team, consisting of Ms. Dori, Mrs. Beratis, Mrs. Chadha, Ms. Dolan, Mrs. Baker, Ms. Katie, and Mr. Nunes. This team meets weekly with Mrs. Scanlan and me. We review all types of data and generate ideas for supporting our teachers. These teachers spend a lot of time together, and their ideas translate into actions for our school. I love working with them! We are so lucky. Please join me in congratulating our team.
